KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 — Senior Umno minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz turned the heat up a notch in the controversy over hudud today, harshly describing those bickering over the law and its planned implementation in Kelantan as “stupid people”.
The outspoken politician said there was no need to worry over PAS’s hudud agenda as in the first place, the controversial Islamic penal code runs counter to the Federal Constitution and would therefore never be implemented in Malaysia.
“They are all stupid, whoever is talking about this from whichever political party. This can only happen if there is an amendment to the Federal Constitution.
“So why even talk or bother about something that is against the Constitution and will not happen? Exercise in futility,” the former de facto law minister told reporters when met at the Parliament lobby here.
5. Kita nantikan kebodohan seterusnya.

ReplyDeleteUMNO tak bodoh. Depa bijak. Dah tahu sokongan Melayu merosot, dia kena support apa yang orang Melayu di bawah mahu.
ReplyDeleteTak perlu fikir panjang-panjang implikasi ke, keadilan ke. Yang penting kekalkan kuasa.

Pembangkang mendapat majoriti undi bukan Melayu.
Tak timbul soal sokongan orang Melayu kepada UMNO merosot.
PAS, led by the nose and then betrayed by Umno.
ReplyDeleteHadi, using hudud as a political lifeline, knowing that Umno will not go all the way.
DAP & PKR, pretending the issue of hudud will never arise from under the carpet.
Who is the stupidest?
The rakyat, of course, for tolerating such a bunch of spineless imbeciles as "leaders".

Deleteblogger OSTB dah menggariskan hudud Pas bukannya hukum Allah.
Jadi Muslim ni mudah saja..semuanya disalahkan org sahaja. Itu zionis ini yahudi dam sebagainya. Tapi x pernah melihat lebih dari itu. Mengapa mereka bole kuasai dunia sedangkan selepas wafatnya Nabi, empayar Islam ialah yg paling menonjol melepasi tamadun barat. Apa silapnya? Apa yg jadi adalah akibat kelemahan org muslim sendiri. Jadi, jangan beri alasan sekadar utk menutup busuk pekung sendiri. Afganistan yg tiada mall Nu Zionis pun bukannya bagus sgt pun dari Muslim di Malaysia. Bole bunuh org ikut suka hati. Mengapa? Yahudi suruh juga ka?
Menjadi Muslim bermakna patuh dengan ajaran alquran. Kenali alquran dulu maka akan kuatlah minda org2 Muslim. Jangan hanya sekadar berkata diri itu Muslim tapi isi kandungan alquran mengharapkan org lain utk sampaikan. Kalau hudud Allah ciptaan manusia dan hudud Allaj didalam alquran pun x mampu nak bezakan, layakkah diri tu berkata dia Muslim yg patuh alquran.
Eloklah tu.. sama2 jadi bodoh...
sebab itulah Tun M gariskan bahawa dln Islam, prinsip keadilan itu diutamakan. Baik dia undang2 ciptaan Barat, jika ianya adil maka itulah hukum berpaksikan Islam. Kalau nama je hudud tapi bab saksi pun nampak tak adil, 2 saksi wanita bersamaan 1 lelaki, apa yg adilnya. Wanita islam ni bodoh kot smpai kesaksian mereka pun jadi pertikaian. Jadi, kata2 yg Islam memartabatkan kaun wanita tu hanya dongeng sajalah.
-zallman-
I have not taken kindly to Mr. Nazri for his once rude behaviour towards Dr. Mahathir, but his rising to the occasion in this political-hudud affair deserves commendation, just as Mr. Apanama says so. Chivalry demands that he pursue this issue for the sake of the integrity of the Malay nation right to its unforeseeable ends.
ReplyDeleteFrom the beginning, it was, is and always will be much ado about nothing. The whole thing is just about to collapse like a pack of cards. This issue was hijacked and pushed by PAS to meet their political ends, politically supported by UMNO, rejected by MIC, MCA, and the east coast states, now these component parties are being abandoned by PM although consensus already agreed in the recent 13 BN component parties meeting to reject the bill, and they agreed that PM will deliver the coup de grace. Where are you PM?
ReplyDeleteFocus focus on what concerns the people most 1MDB, SRC, Felda, GST, PDRM, IGP, Putrajaya, ISIS, illegals, freedom of speech, and a host of other financial, security, and economic matters, these are the real issues of the rakyat and the whole country.
ReplyDelete1. Nazry is never in my list of potential pm of malaysia as he has yet to date contribute anything worth mentioning other than load of controversies albeit "stupid ones".
ReplyDelete2. He has bad blood with mahathir though he knows he is no match for the ex premier.
3. In the issue of Pas hudud in kelantan and its intention to have it tabled as private bill in the parliament, his comments are worth pondering and I for once agree with him only on the issue of it running counter to federal constitution. But for him to call others stupid is uncalled for.
4. For what nazri is worth, never dream of him as a potential pm.
Email from Karamjit Ghill
ReplyDelete“An Islamic State over my dead body” – famous words from the late Karpal Singh, the “Tiger of Jelutong” that stirred the whole nation once upon a time. These were not just words uttered but represented a stand by undoubtedly one of Malaysia’s greatest ever politician. Sadly, with the passing of Karpal, those words have passed on with him. What looked like principles of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) once upon a time is starting to look like it was instead a stand from a fearless individual rather than the entire organization. DAP definitely seems to have lost its tooth following the departure of their National Chairman.
BACK THEN…
In 2011, the then PKR vice president, Tian Chua said that the Pakatan Rakyat coalition collectively agreed that their fight is strictly to uphold the Federal Constitution. This means there was never an agreement by all three allies to the idea of establishing an Islamic state or implementing hudud law. They took it a step further before the last General Election by convincing the public that PAS has agreed to shelve the idea of tabling hudud law which today has been proven to be just an electioneering strategy to woo the voters in their favour.
BUT NOW…
All the while, DAP who claims to be the only party with real multiracial ideology has been against implementation of an Islamic state with hudud law. They even threatened to leave the Pakatan Rakyat coalition if the hudud law is tabled. While PKR’s only ambition seem to be freeing their supreme leader Anwar Ibrahim, PAS put a deaf ear on those threats by DAP and tabled the bill in the Kelantan State Assembly. DAP then had to just swallow the bitter pill of reality. But wait? What do they tell their voters? To buy some time, DAP then said they will withdraw from Pakatan Rakyat if Hudud is passed. PKR continued to rally against the government on Anwar while the PAS-dominated Kelantan assembly passed the bill unanimously.
What does DAP do now? The latest game plan is DAP will withdraw if hudud is implemented. So now it seems DAP has severed ties with Hadi but is still in the Pakatan Rakyat coalition with PAS. Very complex relationship they share. It clearly seems like DAP is becoming the next MCA. Being in a limbo, what can DAP do? Lim Kit Siang has started his roulette by claiming this situation has come about because of “UMNO’s unity government plot”. Definitely having a problem with selective reading, Lim is yet to realise that UMNO and other BN parliamentarians themselves have spoken against the implementation of hudud law. Today, comes the suggestion of “Save Malaysia” coalition where Lim has invited MPs from BN to join hands and uphold the Federal Constitution.
Seriously? A little while ago nobody from the BN coalition was right but today open arm invitations are given to be allies. Maybe Lim Kit Siang should retire from politics and venture into scriptwriting in the entertainment industry.
I promise you Sir, I will watch all your movies because they will definitely have a good plot with twists and turns that may shame Ocean’s Eleven.
We knew the demise of Karpal Singh is a lost to the nation. But to what cost? It is for sure becoming crystal clear now.
Karamjitji,
ReplyDeleteWhich cave were you hiding in all these while ?
Shame on you on your grasp of current political affairs.
To refresh your amateurish mind....can you recall a clarion call made by one very big man......"we will take back Selangor by any means"
This hudud thingy is a game played by
by some big boys with Hadi being used as a springboard.
They want the scenario to be played out like as follows :
DAP kicks out PAS from PR.....PAS aduns in Selangor will declare themselves as BN friendly reps with the help of some ever ready frogs from PKR...once they have garnered enough numbers , they will hold hands with UMNO and topple the PR govt of Selangor.UMNO will offer the MB post to PAS while the Speaker and exco post will be shared amongst themselves.....habis cerita and hudud will be put to a rest without even a squeak.
Now go and have a few chappatis and burp over the above scenario.

In Malaysia Insider today, this article delivers the final blow to PAS hudud bill:
ReplyDeleteThe Conference of Rulers has rejected the proposed amendments to Act 355, a federal law that the Kelantan PAS government wants to change in order to enforce hudud, or the Islamic penal code, in the state, according to sources.
The proposal to amend the Shariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 was rejected during a meeting on March 11, attended by all Malay rulers or their representatives, sources said. The rulers' decision means the Federal government will no longer move to have the Act amended in Parliament, as was originally intended under a roadmap by the joint federal-state Hudud Technical Committee. -

ReplyDeleteLatest take on the 1MDB 2billion loan has more than one version.
What a tangled web of deceit spunned by 1MDB and Putrajaya, and may still be further updated again.
Putrajaya now has another version as to how 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) settled its RM2 billion debt last month, saying that tycoon T. Ananda Krishan's Tanjong Energy Holdings had arranged for help to pay off the sum.
Just two weeks ago, the Finance Ministry in a parliamentary written reply had stated that the government-owned strategic investment firm had used its own Cayman Island funds to settle the RM2 billion debt.
Today, Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Mohamad Hanadzlah said Tanjong had roped in private investors to come up with the money.
He said the RM2 billion was a form of refinancing or rollover.
"Tanjong arranged from private investors to come up with the RM2 billion, with the principal to be paid in 15 months, with the interest to be paid in six months.

Apanama, looks like the parties concerned who have been spinning tales to gullible fools have run out of lies to tell, and no where to run for cover.
ReplyDeleteSo many task forces now springing up, the AG's task force, PDRM's task force, PAC task force, and
lo and behold another special task force will be set up to investigate troubled state investor 1Malaysia Development Berhad’s (1MDB) operations and its staggering RM42 billion debt, Putrajaya announced today.
Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said he would be part of the task force, which also includes Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar; Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa; and Treasury Secretary-General Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah. "The government has set up a task force. We are looking at it entirely including 1MDB's debts," he said in his winding up speech in Parliament today.
This is besides the earlier task force announced by the Attorney-General (A-G), comprising the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), the A-G Chambers and the police that will look into the fund's dealings following reports made against it. - See more at: http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/putrajaya-sets-up-task-force-to-investigate-1mdb#sthash.b7jvVKkD.dpuf
1. Mahathir had said many years back when responding to late Nik Aziz on Hudud in Malaysia. He had articulated the subject matter very convincingly. Unfortunately he was condemned, anti Hudud, anti Islam etc. Today what he had expounded is very true indeed...no elaboration required.
ReplyDelete2. When Mahathir spoke critically on 1MDB and other serious matters affecting the nation, people were quick to condemn him causing disunity etc. Now, the story if 1MDB has become so controversial with lies after lies being told by putrajaya to the public.
3. Sanusi Junid had clearly said that 1MDB or GST has nothing to do with unity. It is the issue of the government of the day who seems to be oblivioys to advice and criticisms of the rakyat.
4. So when nazri talked about fools, stupidity or whatever, it seems to fit in the current happenings inour country today.
Sir, on the 1MDB circus, Husni and PM has a lot to answer for. Evasive answers all the way, looks like his goose and by extension the entire cabinet is already cooked.
ReplyDeleteWhether the refinancing of the 2billion loan came from Ananda himself or his companies, it is still money from Ananda.

ReplyDeleteUMNO got 88 seats and Sabah and Sarawak votes made BN the majority, so UMNO is strong, dude.
Forget lah DAP, after nearly 50 years got only 37 seats and that also with the help of PKR and PAS. Sine the subject of this post is bodoh and since the High Court has ruled in one case that the word bodoh is not defamatory, I'd like to call you bodoh.
If we are "goons and kaki ampu", what are you? Ungrateful ingrate ultra kiasu? You be careful about talking secession, because it's seditious. The Police have an arrest warrant on that Doris woman who has been running from place to place in Europe to avoid Interpol arresting her for Malaysia.

2:41:00 pm is obviously a different person from 11:50:00 am. The language and arguments show that.
ReplyDeleteNo, we never look down on Sabahans and Sarawakians. We have racial affinity with the Orang Asal, despite religious differences with the non-Muslims.
But talk about secession was started by the pendatang. Like the Doris Jones woman, a Chinese from Miri if I remember well. Members and supporters of the DAP and the like-minded. They who want to try and get power, rule and exploit the locals. And you two sound like them.
Like in Penang. DAP grabbed land occupied by the poor, sold it and large parcels of State land to developers who build only higher priced housing units. That the Malays and the Indians cannot afford to buy. They end up moving to the mainland. And Penang left to the economically advanced Chinese. The Indians (Hindraf) said that after years of DAP rule in Penang, the Indians could not get even kacang putih.
We don't want the Orang Asal to be exploited by you people. We want Sabah and sarawak to remain in Malaysia. It's seditious to talk about secession anyway.
These pendatang DAP/ Red Bean kind will always try to distract us from the blog post. Countering their nasty comments we must do. After that we get back to the blog post -

Do not try to fool yourself by making denial that east malaysians were never looked down by you guys! Ask those who had and are still working in federal govt departments and GLCs....no explanation required.
Of course we do have racial affinity in east malaysia and described as best example in terms of tolerance in spite of ethnic and or religious background. By the way, i am a malay and muslim.
We also do not want orang asal like us in east malaysia being exploited by you west malaysians. The majority do not want out of malaysia as we are not involved in supporting secessionist movement. We still want east malaysian states in the federation albeit voices and aspirations heard.
What could trigger interest in secessionist movement is when you imposed your values on us. If you really go on referendum, majority in sabah do not want umno but because of hypocrites and opportunist in the likes of salleh keruak or bung, rahman dahlan etc...each every sabahan was taken for a ride. Sarawakians did the right thing in not allowing umno into the state.
So wake up brothers in peninsular, try not to impress on us of your big brother attitude......
EXPLAINING AWAY THE TRUTH
ReplyDeleteIt is no good at all
to conjure all sorts of reasons
to explain away truth:
One could subscribe to truth
only when one has self-respect in the first place;
When a man tells untruths,
he has no respect for himself
and little would he do better for others
except for his own gain;
And when a man tells lies,
he has a tendency to forget:
With one lie after the other,
eventually he would be caught
in his own tangled web:

1MDB: KRITIKAN BERMOTIF POLITIK Oleh SSK NAJIB
14. Justeru dalam konteks 1MDB, biarlah hasil siasatan menentukannya. Segala-galanya pasti terjawab apabila Ketua Audit Negara menyiapkan laporannnya.
6:25:00 PM,
ReplyDeleteWhat else to size up someone than by way of language and argument .... by brawn and muscle?
What to rationalize whats happening in east malaysia other than the facts of history, Mista? Get those facts of history, use them when arguing.
Now you are making the usual wild, unsubstantiated and unjustified Oppo Hippo accusations about east malaysians being looked down etc.
Why "Ask those who had and are still working in federal govt departments and GLCs?" You have the proofs, put them out. Don't just accuse wildly.
Good that you acknowledge the racial affinity and described as best example in terms of tolerance in spite of ethnic and or religious background. But that you are a malay and a muslim does not exonerate you from providing proofs to your wild accusations. It's just not fair making wild accusations.
Good that "The majority do not want out of malaysia as we are not involved in supporting secessionist movement. We still want east malaysian states in the federation albeit voices and aspirations heard."
Now, again, what and where are the instances of "when you imposed your values on us"? What are you talking referendum for? To show "majority in sabah do not want umno"? Who say that referendum can be done willy nally. Just like that? There are other ways of determing that. Like the votes during elections.
My advice to you is to broaden your mind, throw away the inferiority complex, avoid feeling your brothers in peninsular trying impress .. big brother attitude etc.
Get the facts, argue them out, don't just make wild and unjustified allegations.
And look around you, ask yourselves if those asking for secession are not intending to get power, then exploit and bully you. If so, guard yourselves against them, whack them, so that you Sabahans and Sarawakians can live peacefully, enjoy what is fully due to you, without being exploited by them.

ReplyDelete1. You are "never with east malaysians" though you may have been into both states. Its only fair that you would not be able to size up the realities. You sound so primitive suggesting brawn and muscles....typical west malaysian big brother mentality
2. I was born some 58 years ago and I know our states pretty well than you before and after malaysia was formed. These facts have prompted us to call a spade a spade. We do not mince our words.
3. Speaking about wild accusations, what kind of attitude is this when "a general manager of GLC arrogantly compared a rural town in east malaysia with federal capital of malaysia, KL?". There were and are many more.
4. As a muslim, i have quoted the above....not a baseless or wild accusations. I could even quote his name but i have to show some respect. He was formerly General Manager, HRM of the GLC who could not stand rural town's boring nightlife. In fact, he came from a small remote town in kelantan.....get the message.
5. Ha..ha. Ask any east malaysians who had and or working under a west malaysian bosses....you get the answer unless you choose to turn deaf ear.
6. Votes, sir, can be exchaged with money....thats what happening with sabah umno.
7. We never had inferiority complex problem except those who speak the loudest will be geographically dislocated and silenced. We still holdour heads high.
8.We have presented our facts clearly but you seem to be like najib, mr clueless
9. We are never concer about being whacked by our east malaysians but we are careful of being whacked again by the west malaysians.
10. To you west malaysian, i am still proud to be a malaysian from east malaysian states. But unless we are being heard and treated equal, you would hear call for separation. By the way, i am anti secessionist. However, i cannot really tell forhow much longer....huhu

ReplyDeletePoor 58 years old man not understanding the first sentence there.
Read it again, my friend - here, I re-produce it:
"What else to size up someone than by way of language and argument .... by brawn and muscle?"
So, why are you saying I was suggesting brawn and muscles? I was asking you those as you don't seem to accept that sizing someone is by language and argument.
We really have a problem of communication, don't we? In which case, may I suggest we avoid using words like primitive - we can disagree but still be respectful of one another.
And may I respectfully suggest you broaden your mind by telling yourself that if "a general manager of GLC arrogantly compared a rural town in east malaysia with federal capital of malaysia, KL", then he is just not worth listening to, or taken seriously, should be disregarded, as he must be the odd one out with that kind of mentality.
But if there are many like that, you need to give their particulars as well as date, time, when and where such were said, as proof that what you say are factual and so that we might be able to help in one way or another to change the situation. But mere accusations won't help at all.
And you are still making accusations without giving proofs - "money and votes, "the loudest will be geographically dislocated", "Najib Mr Clueless" and not saying how exactly you want to be "heard and treated equal".
But saying at the end "...huhu" makes you sound like the usual "ultra kiasu, ungrateful ingrate pendatang DAP" who always make "wild, unsubstantiated and unjustified allegations."
If that is the case, I wonder if it's any use furthering this conversation.
Way to go, 8..48!!!

ReplyDeleteAgain you still want to show off your superiority complex, the normal mentality of a west malaysian.
If they are malays, they would consider east malaysian malays are inferior. Anyone challenging them would be considered as ultra kiasu or pendatang DAP. You do not realise you have issued a fitnah....huhu
You are lucky to have people like bung and salleh as your errand boys. Mind you come a time when their days are numbered, we will see whohad the last laugh. Sarawskians are lucky not to have those parasites in their system.
My parting words to you whoever you are, when Allah says KUN FA YAKUN.....even you cry blod tears, no one will help a muslim malay like you.
Wallahuaklam
