May God bless this beloved nation with peace, stability, prosperity and open the eyes and the hearts of our leaders to the realities on the ground.
May God grant some of our leaders the strength to control their overflowing lust and desires for worldly possessions. (The lust, desires and greed of their family members included)
I pray that God also makes empathy readily available to our leaders so that this beloved nation could remain stable, peaceful and prosper without any bloodshed.
Malaysians, I pray, will stand united as a cohesive society despite the daily dose of hatred, stupidity and idiocracy served from both sides of the political divide.
Let us work together for a better Malaysia in 2014.

Yes, hopefully.
I think more proactive leadership (on both sides of the political divide) can also reduce the hatred, stupidity and idiocy.
