AirAsia grounded in INDONESIA
JAKARTA–Tiga pesawat Indonesia AirAsia digrounded atau dilarang terbang sejak Jumat malam hingga kini, yang menyebabkan penumpukan penumpang di Terminal 3 Bandara Soekarno-Hatta.
“Memang ada pesawat kami yang digrounded, kami terlambat menyelesaikan proses administrasi spare part sehingga pesawat kami digrounded,” kata Humas AirAsia Indonesia Audery Progastama Petriny kepada Bisnis, Sabtu siang (21/7).
Kepala Pusat Komunikasi Publik Kementerian Perhubungan Bambang S. Ervan mengatakan setelah melakukan pengecekan, dilaporkan bahwa tiga pesawat Indonesia AirAsia dengan nomor registrasi PKAXG,PKAXS, PKAXM disegel oleh Bea dan Cukai.
“Alasan penyegelan belum diketahui. Dampaknya terjadi penumpukan penumpang di B Lounge,” kata Bambang.
Dia menambahkan pihak langkah tindak lanjut yakni telah berkoordinasi dengan pihak Air Asia. “Kami meminta untuk menempatkan petugas di B Lounge guna memberikan layanan informasi kepada penumpang,” tuturnya.

NOTE: Looks like the same story is unfolding in Indonesia. The airport guys in JAKARTA and other relevant authorities would be blamed in no time... maybe the Indonesians should seek some advice from Malaysia Airport Holdings Bhd on how best to handle the god-sent cheap airlines and its god-sent BIG (head) boss.

WHO could transform KHAZANAH?
Nobody in their right frame of mind would be surprised if Khazanah Nasional's Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar tenders his resignation or (refuses to extend his contract) as the Managing Director of the Government's investment arm.
Azman's failures as the head of Khazanah are one too many to be listed. Everyone in the corporate sector seem to know that Azman is on his way out but the BIG QUESTION now is who next?
Certainly there are many others who are more than qualified and experienced to helm Khazanah. Those advising the Finance Minister on this vital appointment - to a seat that holds the dangerous blend of power, influence and unlimited funds - should be mindful of our past blunders.
Identifying the right candidate shouldn't be a big problem to the Prime Minister. Just take a look at the list of GLC heads in the stable. There are a few in 'Your Territory' Mr.PM... and could possibly lead the real transformation of Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
The transformation of Khazanah under a new Managing Director would reflect the wisdom of the Prime Minister.
A brief background (of the long history of Amok) by Another Brick in the Wall. I'd spare the out-going Khazanah boss from YB Wee Choo Keong's chronicles. about MAS, BinaFikir and the failed share 'SUAP' with the Malaysian Indian..eeerr (I think now 'Indonesian') aviation guru.
p/s 'Aiyooooo'...fikir-fikir dulu kalau nak appoint Amok jadi chairman sana-sini, performance record pun bukan exemplary... and is he a winnable candidate as some have suggested ? Again, this (fielding him as a candidate in the next GE) will reflect the wisdom of the BN chairman.

'Pakatan website' MALAYSIAKINI
Well, thats what DAP politician Tony Pua revealed via his Twitter posting late on Friday night.
Tony Pua could have just been stating the obvious about Malaysiakini being a 'Pakatan website' but lately this particular politicians have had his reputation shredded for not telling the truth.
The DAP MP was recently slapped with a RM200,000 fine for telling lies about Syabas in Selangor.
So, did Tony Pua tell another BIG lie ... this time about the 'independent' Malaysiakini?
I'm sure 'independent' Malaysiakini's 'independent editors' Steven Gan and Premesh Chandran would be fuming mad and couldn't possibly wait to deny Tony Pua's assertion/admission/declaration that Malaysiakini is a Pakatan mouthpiece.
... or was Tony Pua finally telling the truth? You wanna tell your readers the truth Steven/Premesh, even if it happens to be embarrassment?
p/s If Tony Pua is not a compulsive liar from now on we could officially address Malaysiakini as an Opposition mouthpiece or a Pakatan running dog, whichever sounds better.

nonetheless, it's embarrassing to meet her on the street”. - WOLFGANG BORCHERT,
