NIK AZIZ STEPPING DOWN ?

Nik DOWN - Hadi UP ?
Pas spiritual leader, Kelantan Pas Commissioner and Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat’s days in both the political party and the state government is numbered!
Nik Aziz is now widely expected to step down ‘with honour’ before he is forced to do so, as in the case of his CEO son-in-law Ariffahmi.
Nik Aziz, sources say, is very hurt and disturbed with the Pas central committee’s unanimous decision to remove his son-in-law.
The central committee’s strong message was conveyed to the Spiritual Leader by none other than Abdul Hadi Awang, the president whom Nik Aziz was vehemently attacking just a few weeks ago.
Pas insiders say Hadi had grabbed the bull by its horn and turned the tables on Nik Aziz by putting the Menteri Besar in place and showing him who is the BOSS.
In his capacity as the president Hadi now has enough reasons to interfere in the internal affairs of Pas in Kelantan, a state that has been under the iron grip of Nik Aziz and Husam Musa.
Ariffahmi has not only undermined his aging father-in-law but has also ‘empowered’ Pas loyalist like Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah.
As anticipated the deputy state commissioner of the Islamist party has now demanded Nik Aziz to name his successor.
An astute politician, Datuk Amar has said what many in Pas wanted to say with utmost diplomacy but the message is crystal clear ‘Please step down before you are forced to’.
If Nik Aziz fails to feel the pulse as it beats today he would be dragging down many other leaders with him, including his obvious successor Husam Musa.
Could Husam Musa be the next Menteri Besar of Kelantan?

p/s Cronyism is evident, lets wait for nepotism and the rest in Pas.

SON-IN-LAW QUITS!

update - 24/11/09 11.45am
My apologies for this late update (internet was down in Komtar - I dont think it was Guan Eng's conspiracy though).

Just read NST and STAR, and think where this saga might be heading. I think PAS is in a fix. Who 'fixed' them is a good question. Many believe its not Umno, MIC or the BN.
As usual there are many theories of conspiracy. Suggestions that Nik Aziz's dilemma might be the work of some in PKR may appear funny but some say PAS was used as a decoy to avoid attention on a crumbling PKR and Anwar Ibrahim.
Could it be true?

earlier alert

Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Aziz Nik Mat's son-in-law Ariffahmi has resigned from his post as the Chief Executive Officer of Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan (PMBK) with immediate effect.

Nik Aziz has announced this during an emergency press conference in Kota Baru about an hour ago.

Updates to follow....

Puppet Masters & Coup D'etat In Kelantan.

Kelantan Pas deputy chief Datuk Husam Musa has tendered his resignation from all party and state government post following fallout with Nik Aziz’s son-in-law Abdul Ariffahmi.

The Pas-led state government is definitely heading in the wrong direction with the latest political development, just days after Husam’s right hand man Syed Azidi was unceremoniously removed as the Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan (Kelantan Menteri Besar Incorporated) ’s corporate communications officer.

Ariffahmi who is Chief Executive Officer sacked Syed a.k.a Kickdefella after the MACC started investigating the CEO’s appointment and his links with certain tycoons and contractors.

Syed Azidi was accused of being a MACC and Umno's mole but Ariffahmi's boys have also now linked Kickdefella's BOSS as the mover behind the 'conspiracy'.

Nik Aziz is also under investigation for accepting an all-paid trip to Mekah worth more than 60,000 ringgit.

Little birds from Kota Bahru are sure that Husam has tendered his resignation but Nik Aziz, I was told, was reluctant to accept his deputy’s drastic move despite being persuaded by Ariffahmi to ‘let Husam go’.

WAS Husam impatient like his mentor Anwar Ibrahim and tried to topple his boss via underhand tactics?

Guess only GOD knows the actual truth but I won’t be surprised if Nik Aziz knows it too, for at times he appears bigger than his shadows at dawn.

UTUSAN is saying more HERE about the premature end of Husam’s ambitions to replace Nik Aziz as the Menteri Besar.

p/s Deja' vu! In 1998 a similar coup unfolded in Umno and this time around the 1998 culprit appears like the puppet-master, again!

SCANDAL FREE MAHATMA?

Zaid says coalition needs a spiritual leader

2009/11/18

KUALA LUMPUR: Pas spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat is the right candidate to lead the yet-to-be registered Pakatan Rakyat Malaysia because he is a clean leader free of scandals, personal problems or worldly ambition, says Datuk Zaid Ibrahim.

Zaid, in the latest posting on his blog myzaidibrahim.wordpress.com, likened Nik Aziz to India's Mahatma Gandhi, South Africa's Nelson Mandela and Iran's Imam Khomeini,
whom he said were loved for their principles and character.

Zaid said the Pakatan Rakyat needed a spiritual leader as no ordinary politician, no matter how great or skilled, was strong enough to stand against the might of Barisan Nasional.

"So, I only see Tok Guru Nik Aziz with such qualities.

People of all races and faiths accept him."Zaid, who is the opposition coalition's pro-tem chairman, said spiritual leaders had no desire to be prime minister or to hold any other posts. - NST

Same Old Dirty Strategy

The sudden reappearance of infamous Private Investigator P. Balasubramaniam has once again set the rumour mill in motion.
Bala is now promoting his RM5 million-88seconds movie through YouTube while another lunatic fugitive, who lost his balls somewhere in the GoldCoast, has also re-emerged in cyberspace with rehashed allegations against the Prime Minister.
Blogger Pasquale is of the opinion that these goons have launched another round of smear campaigns targeting the Prime Minister.
Pasquale points at Anwar Ibrahim as the CULPRIT!
Are Pasquale's allegations unfounded?
I don't think so because PKR Member of Parliament for Kulim Bandar Baru - Zulkifli Noordin - has confirmed in a written statement that PKR (read Anwar Ibrahim)'s strategy was to 'attack' the Prime Minister.
A line in the statement issued in Parliament on Nov 10, 2009 read "It was clear from the meeting called by DSAI (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) yesterday afternoon (Nov 9) at his office attended by MPs from PKR that the main issue discussed was the new party's strategy to launch an attack on the Prime Minister".

Read Zulkifli's statement HERE.

p/s PKR's sole purpose appears very clear now ... it stands only for ONE guy who is facing another court case over a SERIOUS CRIME!

Nik Aziz & Co

Nik Aziz is the Menteri Besar Kelantan and his Son-in-Law is the CEO of Perbadanan Menteri Besar Kelantan (PBMK).
The SiL, as exposed by blogger Kickdefella, seems to be running PBMK like his own company.
The SiL is so influential now that he even dictates every move of the Pas revered Tok Guru.
The SiL virus has hit Nik Aziz and it looks like the MB's days as the Pas and Kelantan supremo is numbered.
Nik Aziz has definitely underestimated the SiL virus and is now a victim of his own SiL.
Nik Aziz's situation is similar to the destruction inflicted by another SiL who is missing from the radar screen for quite sometime now.
If you wonder where Nik Aziz is heading next, get some direction from BIGDOG and KICKDEFELLA on Nik Aziz & Co.

p/s Kickdefella is PMBK's corporate communication officer whom the SiL kicked-out a few days ago after MACC appeared on his (SiL) tail. Kickdefella says there are loads of shit on the SiL's tail.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH

By IZATUN SHARI

PETALING JAYA: PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s warning to party members to leave and join Umno is aimed at people like Zulkifli Noordin, whose actions are not in line with party policies.
PKR vice-president Sivarasa Rasiah said Anwar’s remark was also meant for party leaders who were squabbling publicly to be more disciplined and settle their disagreements internally.
“For instance, Zulkifli attempted to table several motions in Parliament which were not in line with party policies and without consulting party leadership,” he said.

Wonder why Zulkifli and others in the fragile Opposition pact of PAS, DAP & PKR are staying put despite Anwar Ibrahim's tyranny. Zulkifli's open criticism against Pas' religious bigotry seems to have touched the raw nerves in PKR, more than the pain felt by the Pas leadership.

So far Hadi has not demanded his party leaders to quit or join Umno for opposing his views. The only other 'advisor' who embraced a similar tone was Nik Aziz.

Nik Aziz wanted Pas deputy president Nasharuddin Isa to 'quit or join Umno' recently over the unity talks.

Wonder why its 'QUIT & JOIN UMNO'?

Zulkifli and a few others are simply fed-up with Anwar's antics and might just call it a day soon.

p/s Counting the days and the exact number of the many Zulkifli's in PKR and PAS. The ones in DAP are staying put because leaders like Karpal Singh and Tan Seng Giaw still exist amidst them. The Lim dynasty, some DAP leaders from the south say, has got too big to be contained.
