IS MIC STILL RELEVANT ... with or without Datuk Seri Samy Vellu?
Dr Mahathir all for Makkal Sakthi
2009/09/27
By B. Suresh Ram
KUALA LUMPUR: The latest Indian-based political party in the country - Makkal Sakthi - can bring in the much-needed support for Barisan Nasional, said Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
The former prime minister said BN needed to regain the support of the Indian community."Due to the overwhelming support for the formation of this party, I feel it is something good, as we do not want to lose the support of the Indian community." Speaking after hosting a Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at his residence in Seri Kembangan yesterday, Dr Mahathir said the formation of the party was timely since the support from the Indian community for MIC was waning. - more HERE in NST.
The Star trumps it up ...
Dr M: Makkal Sakti a trump card
KUALA LUMPUR: The newly-formed Malaysia Makkal Sakti Party could be Barisan Nasional’s trump card in regaining the support of the Indian community with the MIC losing grassroots support.
Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad believes the formation of the party would help garner support from the Indian community.
“There seems to be a lot of support for the formation of this party. I think it is a good thing because we don’t want to lose the support of the Indians,” he said at his Hari Raya open house in Seri Kembangan yesterday.
Asked if the formation of another Indian party would dilute MIC’s influence further, he replied: “Well, I think the influence of MIC has already been diluted.”..
So, is MIC still relevant in today's Malaysia? I'll be running a poll on this and hopefully no one attempts to rig it .. you know what I mean. If you don't, read it HERE.

THE CULPRIT AND ANOTHER SUCKER IN T.MOHAN
( Could someone rape his daughter and say sorry later?)
2) While the whole nation is fuming over such a lowly, pariah-dog kind of statement from an MIC division leader, while the entire BARISAN NASIONAL and UMNO leaders in particular are deeply hurt and disturbed by the uncouth behaviour of the sucker from MIC, another idiot is emerging from the same party.
MIC Youth leader T.Mohan (who bought his way into the party position after Samy Vellu removed MIC's legitimate Youth Leader Vickeswaran ) is now trying to take over the role as a SUCKER from Peter Sugumaran. This corrupt MIC Youth leader who behaves more like a street-dog is now INSTRUCT ING Umno to take action against Statesman Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad for his remarks about Datuk Seri S.Samy Vellu and the MIC.
p/s I wonder why Umno president, Barisan Nasional chairman and PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is keeping mum over thi9s issue.
Dear Prime Minister, if it's about mutual respect for a fellow BN member just forget about it since some SUCKERS in MIC have to respect for BN, UMNO or YOU!!

WHO IS THE BLOODY BASTARD?
Those who were present at the MIC assembly please help us identify the bastard of an Indian because such bastards should be taught a lesson, … even if the bastard was only acting on behalf of his BOSS!
Was it N.Muniandy of Ampang???
MIC members and leaders should look into the mirror and spit on their very own image for their dilemma under Datuk Seri S.Samy Vellu and his gang.
Stop searching for a scapegoat and DON'T EVER insult Tun Dr.Mahathir Mohamad, unless you want the situation to get ugly.
p/s I think the MIC president owes Dr.Mahathir an apology!
READ this for the history of rotten eggs and slippers in the MIC.

Educate or Isolate?
In essence the way of a courteous upbringing and life in Kedah, is no different from the basic manners and discipline that were drilled into me in another state.
I'm sure a same degree, if not a higher level of good behaviours are also inculcated among/within our Chinese, Indian, Cindian, Sikh, Kadazan, Bidayuh, Bisaya, Lun Bawang, Penan, Melanau and at least 30 other different ethnics communities in our blessed motherland Malaysia.
There are racists among us and we must either educate them or isolate them.

Musa Hassan's Contract As IGP Extended
PUTRAJAYA, Sept 3 (Bernama) -- Tan Sri Musa Hassan's contract as the Inspector-General of Police has been extended by a year from Sept 13, Home Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Mahmood Adam said.
In a statement, Mahmood said the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advise of the Prime Minister and with endorsement of the Police Force Commission, which is headed by the Home Minister, had given his consent to the extension of Musa's tenure.
Musa, a law graduate, started his career as a police inspector on Nov 11, 1969.
He has held various positions including as an investigating officer (1973), Bukit Aman anti-narcotic division deputy director (1981), a lecturer at the Royal Malaysia Police College in Kuala Kubu Baru (1986), Bukit Aman officer in charge of training (1991), Bukit Aman prosecution division deputy director (1995) and Bukit Aman deputy CID director I (2001).
He has also held the posts of Johor Police Chief (2003), Criminal Investigation Department director (2004) and Deputy Inspector-General of Police (2005).
He was appointed Inspector-General of Police on Sept 12, 2006.

I'm pretty sure Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang, his son Lim Guan Eng, Tian Chua and the like in Pakatan Rakyat would be fuming mad.
These fellows mights also be conspiring on their next move on how best to ridicule the government and other vital agencies like the Royal Malaysian Police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
If we care to remember, these are the the same guys who have been doing the same things over and over again.
I believe they are of the opinion that if you repeat a lie over and over again then it would be accepted as the truth.
But what if the liars have been caught with their pants down ... ooops?
I will bet my last RM that all the criticism against Tan Sri Musa Hassan is simply due to the fact that he is a damn good police officer.
Don't expect Anwar to say anything good or the truth about Musa Hassan the policeman because Musa was the Investigating Officer who uncovered the real Anwar Ibrahim.
Musa peeled Anwar like an onion and I think the tears are yet to subside.
Congratulations, IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan!

RIDING 1MALAYSIA?
1MALAYSIA is a noble concept, almost identical to Bangsa Malaysia, which is being promoted by the new administration under Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
If I'm not wrong the main aim of the whole 1MALAYSIA idea/concept is to promote a greater sense of belonging as citizens of this beloved nation of ours.
1MALAYSIA is also all for UNITY, but of course we are also beginning to witness the pure commercial side of 1MALAYSIA.
I'm sure the overwhelming support from our corporate giants and others from the private sector is much appreciated but guess we will also have to be a little careful so that 1MALAYSIA is not hijacked by some fellow Malaysians with different self-serving agendas.
It's no surprise now that many businessmen are trying hard to churn out new products, marketing gimmicks, commercial and the likes, and tag it with 1MALAYSIA.
But something much bigger and a little disturbing also seems to be brewing.
A reliable source confirmed of attempts to get the Government or more specifically the PRIME MINISTER to support the creation of another Formula 1 racing team from Malaysia.
Yes, you're right! It is to be called Formula 1Malaysia Team or something like that.
Wonder if this the 1Malaysia that we're trying to explain to the people in Nenasi, Batang Kali and Kuala Lipis!
While Formula 1Malaysia sounds good it would be wiser to listen to the voices from the ground, at a time when the Government is facing relentless criticism from every Tom, Dick and Harry.
This latest move to ride 1MALAYSIA, I was told, is another of Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes's brilliant idea.
p/s Lately Santa Claus has also been very generous to certain motorsports associations. Big donations huh? Could it be some form of greasing to win their support?
