Muhyiddin, Anwar Perform Tarawih Prayers Together
BUKIT MERTAJAM, Aug 23 (Bernama) -- In the heat of campaigning, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin coincidently performed the tarawih prayers together with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Bukit Indera Muda Jamek Mosque, here Sunday night.
The Deputy Prime Minister, who was accompanied by Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Penang Umno liaison committee deputy chairman Datuk Zainal Abidin Osman and Permatang Pauh Umno division head Datuk Abdul Jalil Abdul Majid, arrived at the mosque at 8.40pm.
Anwar, who is Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) adviser, showed up 15 minutes later after the prayers had started.

p/s This midnight news dispatch is rather interesting, particularly the fact that Anwar Ibrahim chose to leave half-way through the Tarawih prayers.
