PARTI KEADILAN RAKYAT Adviser Anwar Ibrahim’s Penang Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin was arrested in Johor Bahru while trying to sneak out to Singapore late last night.

The arrest of the 33-year old DEPUTY CHIEF MINISTER, by Immigration and later by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, was for his alleged involvement in high-level ‘CORRUPTION & ABUSE OF POWER’ in PENANG.

I thought LIM GUAN ENG’s PENANG was supposed to be the cleanest among the super-clean states under Pakatan Rakyat.

It’s just slightly over ONE YEAR since the so-called Pakatan Rakyat came into power in ‘Pearl of the Orient’ and their TRUE COLORS seem to be splashing everywhere.

So much for all the accusations against Barisan Nasional, especially GERAKAN & UMNO.

Comments in this blog (some couldn’t be published for their harsh words against Guan Eng & Kit Siang) suggests that Guan Eng in now Anwar’s official NO.1 lapdog.

I really hope that is not true as we could have a better Malaysia without Anwar Ibrahim.

But Guan Eng, what happened to you?

Is Anwar holding anything against the DAP Chief Minister … like in the case of the PKR Deputy Chief Minister whom he granted LEAVE ?

Fairuz is still the DEPUTY CHIEF MINISTER, so shouldn't you call for an emergency sitting of the State Assembly, Mr.Chief Minister?

Chief Minister, your father has been yelling in Parliament about Umno being POWER CRAZY, but I think you should hold up a mirror in front of him the next time he starts his antics.

Yes Mr.Chief Minister, you are the right person to hold up that mirror as you know the actual happenings in your Penang DAP government.

I’m sad for the people of Penang, who thought they had voted in a better Government.

PENANG, March 20 (Bernama) -- Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said he approved the leave application by his deputy, Mohamad Fairus Khairuddin on the request of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"I was informed by Anwar that Fairus wanted leave, so I approved his application," he said quashing talks that Fairus was sacked as Deputy Chief Minister I."

MALACCA Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ali Rustam was FOUND GUILTY of breaching party rules (read money politics) and BARRED from contesting for the Deputy President’s post by the Umno Disciplinary Board.


Umno Youth Chief hopeful Khairy Jamaluddin a.k.a KJ, was also FOUND GUILTY (shout money politics!!!!!) by the same Umno Disciplinary Board but was NOT BARRED from contesting in the party polls.


Ali Rustam and his confidantes should know what they did or have been doing … or failed to do.

Its time for Ali and his supporters to take a leaf from the Honourable Negeri Sembilan ex-Mentri Besar Tan Sri Isa Samad who, despite being fixed by his political enemies, accepted his fate and remains loyal to Umno till this day.

The Malacca Chief Minister’s close aides are confident that he would accept the Disciplinary Board’s decision on him but not the board’s BLATANT DOUBLE-STANDARDS in its decision.

There are a few questions in the air –

1. WHY KHAIRY JAMALUDDIN WAS FOUND GUILTY BUT NOT GUILTY?

2. HOW COULD AN UMNO MEMBER WHO HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF MONEY POLITICS BE ALLOWED TO CONTEST IN THE PARTY POLLS?

3. WAS KHAIRY NOT BARRED BECAUSE HE IS DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI’S FEARED SON-IN-LAW?

4. WHY … WHY SUCH DOUBLE STANDARDS AT A TIME WHEN THE WHOLE NATION IS WATCHING UMNO’S EVERY MOVE?

5. KHAIRY HAS A TAINTED IMAGE NOW, TO BE EXACT THE DISCIPLINARY BOARD HAS ENDORSED THAT HE IS CORRUPT AND HAD BREACHED PARTY RULES … WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED TO KEEP HIM OUT OF THE PARTY POLLS?

p/s Maybe Datuk Seri Ali Rustam should appeal the Umno Disciplinary Board’s decision based on the board’s verdict on KJ.

But their fate turned from ZOOM to DOOM when one of their key players, sitting Supreme Council member Datuk Norza Zakaria was ARRESTED by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission after his political corruption was exposed in Temerloh.

Norza’s arrest has spilled the beans, and now it’s time for the Domino Effect.

The arrest of Azalina’s aides, her Political Secretary and Personal Assistant, and the Tourism Minister’s impending DATE with the MACC is indeed a good omen for Umno.

KUALA LUMPUR (March 6, 2009) : The political secretary of a senior cabinet minister was detained and quizzed for several hours by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) late Wednesday before he was released on bail early yesterday.
The man was detained for alleged graft involving more than RM70,000 and had his statements recorded.
It is learnt that MACC officers found a very large amount of cash in the secretary's car during the midnight swoop.
His arrest comes at a time when Umno leaders are gearing up in full force for the last campaign stretch of the party elections less than three weeks away.
