LISTEN TO YOUR HEART.

Dear Malaysian Politicians,
Please stop the power chase, call for a truce and focus on the economy.
"I do not claim to speak on behalf of all Malaysians, but I have strong convictions that many share my sentiments.
Our concern today is not who rules the country or heads the state governments but the looming bad economy.
Whether Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Rakyat leads, it is meaningless if Malaysians have no job to go to, no money to pay rent and no means to put food on the table."

Govt Firm In Decision To Reject New LCCT In Labu, Says Najib

By D.Arul Rajoo
PHUKET, Feb 22 (Bernama) -- The government is firm in its decision to reject the plan by AirAsia Bhd and Sime Darby to build a RM1.6 billion low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) Labu, Negeri Sembilan, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said today.

He said the project cannot be continued according to the original plan as Sime Darby would not pay the RM800 million infrastructure construction cost.

"They will only sell the land to the party that is building the infrastructures. If Airport Malaysia (Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), it means sell to Airports Malaysia...they (Sime Darby) will not pay for the RM800 million infrastructure cost," he told Malaysian journalists covering the Special Asean+3 Finance Ministers' Meeting in this tourist resort here Sunday.

Najib, who is also Finance Minister said he had received confirmation in "black and white" from Sime Darby on the matter."If they (Sime Darby) did not contribute, there is no basis for the project to be considered," he said.

Najib said this when asked to comment on reports that the plan to build a LCCT in Labu is still being discussed between the government the parties involved.

The new LCCT would be built at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang but AirAsia's request on the payment for parking the aircraft and other details have not been negotiated, he added.-- BERNAMA

p/s Hopefully this no-nonsense statement from the DPM would stop any further arm-twisting or scare tactics from Tony and his buddies. Just get ready to retire brothers, your time is up.

LABU AGAIN?

DPM vs EPU or ... DPM vs BADAWI & TONY?

I thought Tony's ludicrous 'Labu-Labi" airport project was in the dustbin after Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak disagreed with the project.

But Tony seems to be pulling his powerful cables, before the cable snaps by end of March.

Wah! Looks like this Tony is more powerful than the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister.

"The proposal for a new low cost carrier terminal (LCCT) in Labu, Negri Sembilan, is still under discussion between the government and related parties, the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) director general Tan Sri Dr Sulaiman Mahbob said.

He said the government had approved the project in principle as it was viewed as a form of private sector investment but there was a need for concerned parties to study the matter with respect to all technical and safety requirements.

The Sliding Drama King.

TIPPING POINT...

The by-elections in Bukit Gantang (parliamentary seat in Perak) and Bukit Selambau (state constituency in Kedah) could mark ‘the beginning of the end’ for the Drama King and his disciples.

At this point of time, despite the many attempts to divert attention and to ridicule Barisan Nasional, the fragile Pakatan Rakyat appears defenseless and at its lowest ebb … both morally and in terms of realpolitik.

Has Anwar Ibrahim’s brand of politics, the type that is full of lies and deceit, reached a ‘Tipping Point’ and started tumbling down hill?

Has Anwar, his promotion of immoral party hopping antics and never ending falsehood become over-night liabilities to PR, in particular the DAP?

Politicians from both sides of the divide tend to agree with DAP Chairman Karpal Singh that Anwar Ibrahim is simply crazy for Power and nothing else.

So, could the Twin-Bukit by-elections be among the final few nails in Pakatan Rakyat’s coffin?

Contrary to Pakatan Rakyat sympathizers’ sentiments and analysis of the impending double-duel in Perak and Kedah, the odds are actually stacked against the ‘now-unmasked’ Pakatan Rakyat.

Both Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau seats are PR seats that are now being contested again after Mar 8, 2008. So, who should be dead worried about losing these by-elections, BN or PR?

Anwar would be unleashing his art-of-deception again and would go lower than the lowest ethics to tarnish the image of BN, in particular that of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak.

Yes, on Apr 7, 2009 – when the people in Bukit Selambau and Bukit Gantang cast their votes, Najib will be our 6th Prime Minister.

Should the voters then embrace CHANGE on Apr 7, like the kind of CHANGE the Obama-wannabes in Malaysia were promoting since we would have an experienced politician as our new Prime Minister?

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Back to BN on Apr 7 since Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his brand of ‘sleepy leadership’ would be history … the dark history of Malaysia.

Let’s just wait and watch … the scale TIPPING slowly!

p/s Badawi would be history but BN should seriously consider keeping KJ & Gang away from both the Bukits.

DAULAT TUANKU!

KEEP TUANKU OUT OF POLITICS ... the Dirty Pakatan Rakyat Politics.

This WARNING goes to everyone, especially Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Karpal Singh, Lim Kit Siang, Hadi Awang, axed-MB Nizar, Malaysiakini, Malaysian Insider and others who seem to have the tendency to be KURANG AJAR!

JUST DON'T PUSH YOUR LUCK!

If you guys have initiated and agreed to play football without the application of the 'off-side' rule then don't cry when your opponent scores to win from an 'off-side' position. Just go home and kick yourself ... if not satisfied yet then go and KICK the guy who has been promoting this brand of politics.

p/s YB Ibrahim Ali has be dethroned, he is no longer the Katak of Malaysian politics. The real King of Frogs is Raja Katak Anwar Ibrahim. He has no moral standing now to accuse the BN of any wrong doing since its all his idea. What goes around, comes around ... but I really never expected it to be so soon. God is Great!

That FINGER is all yours now, Saudara!

STAY OUT, Lah!

LET NAJIB LEAD.

The latest political developments in Perak seem to favour the state Barisan Nasional – chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

BN and PR now hold 28 state seats each but the overnight existence of THREE independent state assemblyman/woman who SUPPORT the NAJIB-led Barisan Nasional has tilted the scale.

In fact PR only has 27 legitimate votes in the 59-seat state assembly since one of its representatives is the assembly Speaker who has no voting rights.

So, it’s effectively 28 plus 3, against 27.

The rest of the process will unfold on its own and the incoming Prime Minister seems to have got hold of the situation on the ground in Perak just barely FOUR DAYS after assuming the state BN leadership.

BUT what matters most for the BN now is to keep Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, his Son-In-Law and their goons OUT OF THE PICTURE.

If BN could keep these ‘liabilities’ out of Perak and continue to serve the people honestly, with a higher level of commitment, then it could indeed be a breath of fresh air for everyone.

The people clearly rejected Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s leadership on March 8 and now some seem to be returning to BN’s fold with the HOPE that Najib could put this beloved nation back on track towards attaining the now elusive Vision 2020.

Pak Lah! Please just STAY OUT, we have had enough of you.
