NAJIB STAY'S PUT, ABDULLAH TO GO.

It’s Confirmed!

Deputy Prime Minister is not going out … of the country. Datuk Seri Najib has cancelled his official Middle East trip to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He was scheduled to leave today.

Najib is staying back to ensure ‘political stability’, as recommended by senior Umno Supreme Council members after their historic meeting at Menara Dato’ Onn, Putra World Trade Centre last night.

The current tumultuous global economy and the fact that he was just appointed as Finance Minister just two days ago is another contributing factor to the cancellation of this trip.

The decision comes on the heels of a ‘tell-tale’ Supreme Council decision last night which urged Umno President and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to ‘Sack Himself’ before he is ‘Sacked by Umno members’.

Abdullah has been given time till October 9, 2008 to move OUT.

The Deputy Prime Minister’s next overseas engagement is the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Maybe the Oct 24 UNGA meeting in the famed American-city could be Najib’s first overseas assignment as acting Prime Minister of Malaysia.

We shall see, while we wait for the embattled Umno president’s actions and reactions.

p/s Sources from Putrajaya chirped that an audience with the DYMM Yang Di-Pertuan Agong and an emergency Cabinet meeting could precede an urgent implementation of the much talked about ‘Transition of Leadership’ from Abdullah to Datuk Seri Mohd.Najb Bin Tun Abdul Razak.

  1. If Pak Lah is indeed packing his bags, can we expect a quick restoration of unity within Umno?

    This would leave Najib as the prez, Muhyiddin as number two and Tengku Razaleigh, yet again, out in the cold. Unless, of course, the Dad's Army that has coalesced around Ku Li parades on nonetheless towards a doomed clash...

  2. I'm sure our NEW Finance Minister will have a plate of issues to resolve or to answer to the several 'deals' or 'instructions" committed by the previous FM.Kesian Najib...
    Understand that Air Asia oredered 75units of airbus 320 and 4 units of Airbus 330 thorugh the 'brokership of Kamal with support letter from Ministry of Finance (signed by the FM then)? So who will bail AirAsia out on this with the current global situation and Air Asia's not that great performance? Rakyat's money again like Port Klang?Who tell me>>>

    Dolah Way

    And now, the end is near;
    And still I hope not for certain.
    My friend, I'll say it clear,
    I'll state my case, which need ascertain.

    We've (family) lived life thats full.
    We've (family) got contract in few and evry highway;
    And more, much more than this,
    We did it our way.

    Regrets, we've had too many;
    But then again, too few I know off.
    I did what I was told
    My children agree without exemption.

    I thought they planned the course;
    Each careful step I just follow ,
    But more, much more than this,
    We did it our way.

    Yes, there were times,
    Bloggers surely knew
    When I blunder more than could blew.
    But through it all, when there was doubt,
    We ignore and spin 'em out.
    We censor them - ISA and sedition;
    And did it our way.

    I slept, came late, and grope.
    We plunder too; Patrick Lim is proxy.
    And now, as reality face up,
    I find it so depressing.

    To think I did all that;
    And may I deny - not in a shy way,
    No, oh no, not me,
    Yes, it was khairy.

    For what is a man, what has he got?
    If not his family, that got a lot.
    To talk silly yet I'm praised;
    And not the words of one who reads.
    The record shows Kamal I bow
    And did it our way!

    haaaaaaaaaaa ha ha!

    The winner will be Muhyiddin. If Pak Lah leaves, he'll be the deputy under Najib. If Pak Lah stays, he will contest the Deputy President post under Ku Li, and chances are there for him to win.

    The loser, unfortunately is Najib. Either way he has to contest with 50/50 chance.
